Hospital Detains Mother Of Twin Over Unpaid Bills

Child birth is expected to be a thing of joy and celebration for every mother especially when the blessing comes in double.
Reverse is the case of this mother of twin in Ekiti State Mrs Funmilola Ogundele as she had been subjected to pain, trauma and humiliation following her inability to settle bills at the Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti after four months of delivery.
It was gathered that Mrs Ogundele who is a fashion designer, put to bed four months ago through caesarian session but was allegedly detained by the hospital management over her inability to pay necessary bills amounting to half a million.
Mrs Funmilola Ogundele who contacted our correspondent on telephone pleaded with well meaning Nigerians to bail her out of the disgraceful situation.
Mrs Ogundele said ” My husband who is from Osi Ekiti is jobless while I am a fashion designer, this is my fourth month here after putting to bed, life has been so difficult for me.
“I am pleading with everyone to assist me and the children, I have not even been feedong well, no proper care for my children she said in tears.
