Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has reiterated its commitment to ensure that insecurity becomes a thing of the past through collaborative efforts of other sister agencies.
NSCDC Commandant in oyo state, Mr Micheal Adaralewa stated this while parading six suspected criminals for various offences ranging from armed robbery, fraud to possession of fake money.
He stated further that though he was new in the state,he has being working underneath with other security agencies to collectively wage war against criminality.
The NSCDC Commandant said four of the suspects were apprehended after an alleged robbery after which they assaulted NSCDC officers while trying to resist arrest.
Mr Adaralewa, therefore, pledged its continuous effort to eid the state of all forms of criminality .
One of the six suspects who was found in possession of fake currency, Oluwatosin Gbadamosi denied the allegations and said a customer gave the money to him as an operators of point of sales, POS.
Gbadamosi, therefore, pleaded for leniency as he did not know that the money was fake.
