Ade Adetimehin has emerged as the state Chairman, The All Progressives Congress APC during the State Congress in Ondo State holding at the International Culture & Event Centre, the Dome, Akure.
Radio Nigeria reports that delegates converged on the Dome from across the 18 local government areas of the State for the APC State congresses holding across the country
Delegates participating in the election of new officials of the party stormed the venue with adherence to COVID-19 protocols amidst mild security details.
Dignitaries and Stakeholders who have arrived at the venue include the Deputy Governor, Mr. Lucky Ayedatiwa, speaker of the House of Assembly, Mr. Bamidele Oleyelogun who led other lawmakers, the State acting Chairman who is recontesting, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, serving and former National Assembly members and other party Chieftains.
The Congress is being chaired by the lawmaker representing Mikang, Shendam, Quaan-Pan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Komsol Longgap.
