The Chairman of Osun Primary Health Care Development Board, Mr. Leke Ogunsola says over 60,000 persons have received full COVID-19 vaccination in the state.

Mr. Ogunsola stated this during the budget defence of his Agency before the Osun House of Assembly Joint Committees on Finance and Appropriation in Osogbo.

He stated that over 200,000 people have also taken the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and would be collecting the second dose of vaccination soon.

The Chairman, while reeling out all the works his agency had been doing, added that the state recently completed the second phase of Polio vaccination, thanking the state government and Assembly for their support.

He said with the renovation of the 332 Primary Health Centres across the state, his agency, the Osun Primary Health Centre Development Agency, had been rendering effective health care services to people of the state.

The Chairman of the Assembly’s Joint Committees on Finance and Appropriation, Mr. Adebayo Olodo commended Mr. Ogunsola and his agency for the good works done, saying the budget presented by the agency is thereby considered.
