Woman Throws Own Daughters Into Well In Osogbo

A middle-aged mother identified as Iya Dara who just returned from Oman has thrown her two daughters inside a well in Osogbo, capital of Osun State. 

Radio Nigeria gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday.

The mother who lived around Ajorin Street via Ibuaje area called her two daughters named; Nimisire and Darasimi, directing them to follow her to the well. 

It was learnt that she grabbed the eldest daughter and threw her inside the well before she also threw the younger one too. 

A resident of the community named Nafisat told our correspondent that, the police had arrested the woman after the incident, saving her from mob attack.

When the spokesman of Osun State Fire Service, Mr. Ibrahim Adekunle was contacted, he confirmed the incident adding that efforts were underway to get the two girls, Nimisire Saka (5yrs) and Darasimi Saka (8yrs) out of the well.
