The crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo State seems not over as the joint harmonisation meeting of list as directed by the national leadership of the party was done separately.

A meeting was conducted under the leadership of former Governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala at his Bodija residence, while the other was convened by the outgoing chairman of APC in the State, Chief Akin Oke at the Party Secretariat, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.

Addressing journalists after the meeting at Bodija, Chief Alao-Akala said Chief Akin Oke was sabotaging peace efforts in Oyo APC and he has reported him to the
national headquarters of the party.

He urged the party to deal with Chief Oke stressing that the outgoing chairman
and other persons have no right whatsoever to change the list of winners of the APC congress which took place penultimate week.

Chiarman of the appeal panel, Barrister Sam Ogboku who was also at the meeting said he has come to monitor and observe proceedings, adding that his committee has no right to change the list of winners of the congress.

“Anybody who has any grievances can forward to us. But as at now, we have not received any petition.”

It will be recalled that the harmonization had been initiated following the disagreements that greeted the congress.

Those who attended the Bodija meeting were former deputy Governor, Barrister Iyiola Oladokun, Chief Samuel Adekola, Pa Elegbede Sunday, Engr. Idris Adeoye, Chief Yinka Adebayo, Hon Asimiyu Alarape, and Hon. Isiaka Kazeem,

Others are Hon. Olawumi Oladeji, Hon. Jacob Bamgboye, Chief Wale Ohu, Mrs Monisola Tegbe, Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe and Chief Mufu Adisa.
