Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his 79th birthday.
In a statement in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun expressed gratitude to God for granting the president good health.
While describing him as a quintessential leader who had transformed the country, Governor Abiodun noted that the president had provided sterling leadership and displayed uncommon courage in the face of challenges confronting the nation.
Governor Abiodun also said Nigeria under the watch of President Buhari, has witnessed great infrastructural transformation, industrial growth and an improved economy.
The Governor added that the president’s economic policy of “eat-what-you-grow” had indeed enhanced agriculture, especially local production of food.
