The management of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station has commiserated with Ibadan land and the entire Oyo State on the passage of the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, who joined his ancestors yesterday.

The commiseration followed a condolence visit to the Olubadan palace at Popoyemoja area of the ancient city by the FRCN Ibadan management team, led by its zonal director, Mrs Bolatito Joseph.

Mrs Joseph said Radio Nigeria would greatly miss the Olubadan because of the cordial relationship that existed between the monarch and the station.

Mrs Joseph described Oba Adetunji as a revered traditional ruler, who spent most parts of his life building people.

The FRCN Ibadan Zonal director urged the royal family to sustain the legacy of the late monarch.

She assured the family of the late monarch of adequate coverage of funeral activities by FRCN.
