Nigerians in positions of authority should make humility a core virtue in their service to the nation.
The President, Sweet Soul Sisters Club Ibadan, Alhaja Adebisi Mujidat, made the comment when she led members of the club to felicitate with Mrs Bolatito Joseph fondly referred to as “BJJ”, on her elevation as Zonal Director, Radio Nigeria Ibadan.
Mrs Mujidat described Mrs Joseph, who was the secretary of the club, as a woman of substance.
Other members of the delegation, the Vice President, Mrs Oluwatoyin Tawakalitu; Treasurer, Alhaja Adeleye Alirat; Assistant General Secretary, Dr Olubunmi Oni; Social Secretary, Mrs Taiwo Agboke and Alhaja Basirat Lawal, a member, extolled the virtues of Mrs Joseph.
In a remark, the FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station Zonal Director attributed her achievement to the grace of God.
Mrs Joseph expressed delight at the visit by the members of the club, stressing that she was poised to give her best in serving Radio Nigeria.
