Radio Nigeria, Gold fm, has shined again as one of its reporters, Isaac Haastrup has been nominated for the best reporter award by the association of the indigenous staff of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Ile-Ife.
A statement by the chairman, Egbe Omo Ijesa, Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Mr Oye Oladele and the secretary, Mr Stephen Awofadeju indicates that the award ceremony which takes place at Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa at three o’clock on Thursday is the climax of the association’s New Year dinner party.
The statement also shows that other Ijesa sons and daughters who have contributed to the development of the land, as well as, some retired members of the association will be honoured during the ceremony.
An awardee also expected as a special guest is a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ijesa South federal constituency, Chief Babatunde Ayeni.
