Former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has described the Former Secretary to Lagos State Government, Princess Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya as a great loss.

The former president Obasanjo in a condolence message in Abeokuta said he received the death of the former secretary to the Lagos State Government with deep sorrow and that the state has been irretrievably deprived of a gem.

He said the late Owu chief was committed to the discharge of her duties as the Secretary to Lagos State Government. 

The former president commiserates with the family, Lagos State Government and the people of the state over her demise, stating that her enormous contributions to the state earned her the position in the state’s public service.

She was a dutiful and hardworking fellow and gave her very best to the end in the service of Lagos State and her fatherland. Wale Oluokun
