Ladoja’s Wife Becomes Grand Ambassador of Ibadan Culture

Wife of a former Governor of Oyo State, Mrs Mutiat Ladoja has been decorated as Grand Ambassador of Ibadan Culture.

She was decorated by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, at an event held at her Iyaganku GRA residence in Ibadan.

Receiving the award, Mrs Ladoja, who was elated, expressed gratitude for the honour.

In an address of welcome, President General, Central Council of Ibadan Indegene, Prince Adetayo Adeaga said the award was in recognition of the contributions of Mrs Ladoja to the promotion of Ibadan culture and traditions

Also speaking, The Eekefa Olubadan of Ibadan land, Chief Lekan Alabi, described the recipient of the award as an exceptional woman.

Highlights of the event were exhibition of artefacts and cultural dance.
