Royal fathers in Ikirun, Boripe and Odo-Otin federal constituency of Osun state have commended efforts of the state government at ensuring peace in the state.
The chairman of Traditional council in Odo-otin who doubles as olokuku of Okuku, Oba Samuel Abioye stated this in his palace as Governor oyetola’s consultation tour on his second term bid took the governor and his entourage to Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo Otin federal constituencies.
Oba Abioye who spoke on behalf of other monarchs in attendance thanked God for Governor’s.achvienemts in office including workers’ and pensioners” welfare, security, health and infrastructural development of the state.
While showering royal blessing on the governnor, the monarch prayed for more wisdom and God’s guidance in directing the affairs of the state.
Addressing party members in strategic locations across the constituency, Governor Oyetola who sought their support for his second term bid received positive response from members who trooped out enthusiastically and enmass to meet the governnor.
He appealed to members to continue to be peaceful even as the APC primary election draws closer but with a charge to prevent double standard members.
