The Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, has embarked on a vigorous membership drive to strengthen its chances of achieving a successful outing in the 2023 general elections.

To this effect, a southwest leadership meeting and consultation with party representatives from the 33 local government areas of Oyo state was organized in Ibadan.

At the meeting, the Deputy National Chairman of PRP, Evangelist Patrick Akinbulo charged members of the party to renew their membership status ahead of next year’s elections.

While welcoming new members to the fold, Evangelist Akinbulo, who is also the chairman, of the National convention committee of the party, said the leadership would continue its mobilization of new members across the country.

He maintained that the PRP was the best platform to produce credible representations in government.

Similarly, a chieftain of the party and Presidential aspirant, Dr Abdulfatai Durojaiye said Peoples Redemption Party would take the country by storm come 2023.

Dr Durojaiye stated that the party was already gaining momentum and ready to rescue Nigeria from its current myriads of challenges.

The PRP Presidential aspirant said Nigeria was too blessed to be found in its current economic situation and his party was the best choice to restore the prosperity of the country.

Dr Durojaiye played down the beliefs in some quarters that the ruling All Progressives Congress and the People’s Democratic Party were the strongest political platforms in the country.

He argued that PRP was formidable enough to overpower any other political party in the 2023 general elections.

While speaking on the zoning of the Presidency, Dr Durojaiye said it would deny the country the opportunity to have the best leaders and the practice was not democratic.

The Presidential aspirant advised the leadership of the party not to relent in their efforts at unifying the PRP so as to achieve their desired results in 2023.
