Reverend Hezekiah Ojetumbi of the First Baptist church Oko- Ile has reminded people on the need for them to walk in the light of God In order to inherit eternal life.

The cleric stated this during the funeral of Oba Gabriel Adepoju Adeyemo who joined ancestors in January this year.


Reverend Ojetumbi In a message titled The Righteous Death ,stressed the importance of frequent meditation in the word of God and implored all to always seek His counsel.

“one must not walk in the counsel of the wicked and must not stand in the ways of the sinners but have delight in the word of God and meditate in it day and night” He said.

 Speaking with Radio Nigeria,son of the deceased ,Prince Ayoade Adeyemo described his father as an accommodating and industrious leader who would be missed forever.

On his part,Chief Samson Alagbe said Oba Adeyemo lived a fulfilled life.
Oba Gabriel Adepoju Adeyemo who joined ancestors in January has been laid to rest in the town .

Ayandeyi, Onikose of Ikose,Oba James Ilufoye,Abogunde of Ogbomoso land Oba Sunday Oladipupo,Chief Sobalaje Otolorin, Are Ago of Ogbomoso land, Chief Salawu Ajadi, Jagun of Ogbomoso land and Chief Mrs Oyetunde Abosede, Iyaloja of Ogbomoso land.
