Don’t relegate women to second fiddle: Bolanle Awe

First professor of history, Bolanle Awe has stressed the need for women to be accorded deserved respect in the public.

Professor Awe made the call while speaking with Radio Nigeria on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

The first female Professor of history said the female folk remained very relevant and was instrumental to the unity and development of the country.

She explained that the role of the woman in home and national building was pivotal and should not be underestimated.

Professor Bolanle while charging the female folk to be in and doing, implored the public not to relegate them to the second fiddle.
