The Babaloja general of Oyo State , Alhaji Asiwaju Yekini Abass Oladapo, Babaloja-General of Oyo State after arising from a meeting on Wednesday stated that all markets in Ibadan metropolis will be closed on Friday 11th March, 2022 in honour of the Coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun Ali – Okunmade II.
Alhaji Yeniki Abass noted that the markets , which would be closed is to avoid traffic congestion and honour the new first class monarch that will be install.
The number one trader in the state felicitates with Governor Seyi Makinde, Ibadan Council of Oba and High Chiefs for a rancour free ascension to the throne of Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Alhaji Yekini Abass added that traders and markets leaders of the all Markets should open the markets for business by the end of Jumat when all major activities will have ended.
He prayed for peaceful reign of the New Olubadan of Ibadanland and development of the economy of Ibadanland and Oyo state in General.
