Osun State Government has described the terrorists’ attack on the Abuja-Kaduna passenger train as a tragedy that has left in its trail, deaths, injuries and abductions.
This is contained in a statement issued by the state government through its Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode.
The state government lamented that the latest attack was by every measure was abominable.
It notes that the nation has again suffered human and material losses as many lives have been cut short in their prime by the rampaging army of the heartless.
The statement assures Kaduna State, and Nigeria in general of the support of the government and good people of Osun State at this difficult time.
While conveying the heartfelt sympathy of the government and the people of the state to the families of the victims, the Kaduna State and the Federal Government, the Osun State Government prayed for quick recovery for the wounded and fortitude to bear the irreparable losses for the victims’ families.
