A yet to be identified woman has been crushed to death by a petrol laden tanker at Takie area of Ogbomoso.
The tanker was said to have suffered brake failure.
A park manager, Mr Opeyemi George, who witnessed the unfortunate incident said that the trailer ran into a ditch due to brake failure.
Mr. Judge who said the driver of the tanker took to his heels immediately he noticed he had crushed a woman said the accident occurred around twenty minutes past one on Friday afternoon.
As at the time of this report there is traffic gridlock at Takie junction of Ogbomoso as onlookers urged the government of Oyo state to find an alternative route for heavy trucks plying the road.
The victim is yet to be removed from the grip of the tanker.
