Public and Private schools in Ogun State have resumed for the third term of the 2021/2022 academic session.

A headteacher, Mr Ayodele Sansa who spoke with
Radio Nigeria in Abeokuta, described the turnout of students as very low, saying some of them followed the Federal Government’s directive of 9th May 2022 as the resumption date.

Mr Sansa said necessary measures had been put in place for the take-off of the new term and urged parents to release their children as teachers were in high spirit to start academic activities.

Some parents including Mr Ayomide Tolani and Mrs Taiwo Olaniyan who expressed happiness for the resumption called on the state government to ensure improved security in all schools to boost the morale of pupils.

Also Speaking, some students including Olutayo Balogun and Agnes Akinwunmi expressed the hope that the new academic term would be peaceful and promised to focus more on their education for a brighter future.
