Marriage is a memorable event in the life of people irrespective of clime, race or society.
Though solemn and sacred, it is usually coloured by an ebullient atmosphere and felicity.
Such was the ambience of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mount Zion Cathedral, Province Headquarters of Oyo Province One, the venue of the tying of the knot between Adebayo, son of the Zonal Director, Radio Nigeria Ibadan, Mrs. Bolatito Joseph and his bride Oluwafunmilayo.
In a sermon, the pastor in charge of the church, Sunday Oyewo described the Holy Bible as a compendium from which every couple should draw guidance and strength as marriage is a life-long journey with many lessons to be learnt.
Pastor Oyewo said adhering to the principles outlined in the Scripture would help couples to enjoy the purpose of marriage.
He exhorted the new couple to see each other as an indivisible entity in order to build a long-lasting relationship.
Parents of the Groom, Mr. Kayode, and Mrs. Bolatito Joseph urged the new couple to fashion out ways to make their home a haven of peace
The couple, Mr. Adebayo and Mrs. Oluwafunmilayo Joseph, who were all smiles, described the occasion as a milestone in their life, pointing out good qualities that endeared them to each other.
The event was attended by the Committee of Management FRCN Ibadan and representatives from FM stations in the Southwest, as well as an elder statesman Alagba Bayo Oyero.
