A Presidential aspirant of Peoples Democratic Party PDP and Former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim says electing the right leaders to lead the country in the next general election will chart a new course for the country.
This, he noted, would curb economic and socio-political challenges facing the country.
Senator Anyim gave the indication while canvassing votes from the south west delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party at the government house, Agodi ahead of the party’s presidential primary slated to hold this month.
The former senate President who paid courtesy call on the governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde noted that Nigeria was in search of a nationhood and conscience.
Senator Anyim said his experience in the three arms of government would chart a new direction for the nation if given the opportunity.
Senator Anyim, therefore urged Nigerians to eliminate suspicions and encourage patriotism to build a better nation
In a remark, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state who said Senator Anyim was eminently qualified to lead the nation stressed the need for PDP to keep seeking for alignment to go for convention as a united house.

The presidential hopeful who visited the Oyo state Secretariat, Agodi assured that if given the chance to fly the party’s ticket at the forthcoming presidential election, he would deploy his wealth of experience in public office to reunite the nation and create a thriving economy that would reposition Nigeria .
The former Senate president later proceeded to the Molete party Secretariat of the Oyo state PDP where he was expected to meet with all the state national delegates to personally seek for their support.
