Oyo APC National Assembly Hopeful Promises Quality Representation
The All Progressives Congress, APC candidate vying for the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency at next year’s General Elections, Mr Remi Oseni has promised to provide quality representation to his constituency, if elected.
Mr Oseni made the promise at the official flag-off of his campaign held at Ologuneru area of Ibadan.
Mr Oseni claimed that Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency had over the years experienced misrepresentation, stating that he was well equipped to change the narrative.
The House of Representatives hopeful assured the people of the constituency that he would not disappoint them if he was given the opportunity to represent them.
Radio Nigeria reports that the event was attended by the APC Governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin, Oyo South Senatorial candidate, Chief Sarafadeen Alli, Deputy Chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji Olaide Abas, as well as, other party leaders and supporters in the state.
“There are glaring facts that Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency has been poorly represented in the past eight years, thereby leading to no major impact in the Constituency”.
“I am at a point where I can’t and will not stand by and watch any representative that is visionless, divisive, a promise breaker, non-performer who worsens the lives of the people of Ibarapa East/Ido Federal through misrepresentation, ineptitude and lack of capacity to continue in the year 2023. At this point, I considered it a clarion call for me to change the narrative from the era of non-performing representatives to one of developmental, result-driven and people-oriented representation”.
