Chairman, Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Oyo State Chapter, Festus Adegoju has died after a brief illness.

The hardworking Coach was until his death, a Board of Trustees Member of the University of Ibadan Ex-Footballers Association.

Sir Festo as he is popularly called, had a rich credentials and wealth of experience in the field of sports and especially in football coaching and tutelage.

He had a first degree in Zoology and a postgraduate diploma in teacher education. He proceeded to bag another first degree in human kinetics where he had a first class and a distinction at the masters level.

He also possessed professional licenses and Certificates from Confederation of African Football (A and C) Licenses, University of Ibadan certificates in Soccer and cricket.

He had work experience with various organizations which include: Technical Director ACE Football club, Ibadan, Evaluator (Biological Sciences) West African Examinations Council, Coach, Nigeria University Games Association, University of Ibadan.
