Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has directed the State Police Command to apprehend the killers of a couple, Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye, who were killed and set ablaze in their home on the first of January this year, by yet-to-be-identified assassins.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kunle Somorin, Governor Abiodun declared that the killers who equally kidnapped the couple’s son and drowned him in a river should not go unpunished.

Describing the incident as unfortunate and heart-breaking, Governor Abiodun vowed that his administration would not hesitate to deploy the required resources with the view of unmasking those behind the dastard act and ensuring that the crime did not become part of unresolved murder cases in history.

While expressing his sympathy to the families of the deceased, Governor Abiodun gave the assurance that no effort would be spared in bringing the perpetrators of the heinous crime to book.

He also said that his administration would continue to strengthen security architecture across the state to ensure that Ogun State would never be conducive to criminals.
