Collation of presidential election results from local governments across Oyo state is to resume this morning, Monday, at 8 o’clock at the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC state office, Agodi, Ibadan.

Results from thirty local governments, out of the thirty three local councils in the state were collated before the state returning officer, Prof Olusola Kehinde suspended the collation process at about fifteen minutes past eleven o’clock on Sunday’s evening.

Our correspondent attached to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC reports that the All Progressives Congress, APC was leading in the LGAs results collated so far.

The remaining  three local government to be collated are Ibadan North, Ibadan Southeast and Ibadan southwest.

The Oyo state presidential collation Centre had on Sunday, adjourned its sitting twice which was due to distances of some local councils outside the Ibadan metropolis, the state capital.

Earlier, returning officers in Kajola and Atisbo Local governments had hinted the state returning officer that some cases of over voting and snatching of ballot boxes were recorded in parts of the councils.
