Regular operations have resumed at various motor parks in the state capital, Ibadan, merely 24 hours after the inauguration of the new Executive Council members of the Parks Management System, PMS, in Oyo State.

A visit to several parks within the Ibadan metropolis by Radio Nigeria revealed that transporters had occupied the multi-billion naira Bus Terminal in both the Challenge and Ojoo areas.

The terminals had previously been locked up following the removal of the chairman of the disciplinary Committee, Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary.

Mukaila Lamidi,  who was declared wanted by the Oyo State Police Command for allegedly possessing arms and ammunition after the dissolution of the PMS by Governor Seyi Makinde, faced additional accusations of robbery, kidnapping, and other criminal activities.

Governor Makinde, in announcing the new leadership of the PMS yesterday stated that the appointment was part of the state government’s efforts to reorganize the system.
