Ogun Govt Mourns Agura

Ogun State Government has described the transition of Agura of Gbagura, Oba Babajide Bakre as a great loss to the people of Gbagura, and the state in general.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi indicates that the state government commiserates with the Chiefs, Gbagura indigenes at home and abroad over the transition of the monarch.
The statement describes Oba Bakre as a highly respected and honoured monarch during his lifetime and his legacies will linger forever in the hearts of the family and the entire people of Gbagura.
Oba Bakre who was installed as the 9th Agura of Gbagura on the 21st May, 2019 by the State Government, joined his ancestors on the 14th, June, 2023.
