The General Officer Commanding, GOC, 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Mohammad Usman has called on officers and men of the 35 Artillery brigade, Alamala Abeokuta to uphold discipline and sustain their loyalty to the armed forces and the nation
Major General Usman stated this while addressing the soldiers during a familiarization visit to military formations in Ogun State after his assumption of office as the new GOC.
Major General Usman urged the officers and men to always protect their jurisdictions and ensure the safety of civilians during their operations, restating that it was the responsibility of soldiers to be loyal and serve their country wholeheartedly.
The Major General also paid a courtesy visit to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, where he got the assurance that the Nigerian Army would continue to enjoy the people’s support as the traditional ruler emphasized the importance of soldiers in the society.
The familiarization visit also took the delegation to many locations including Lafenwa barracks and other ongoing military projects across Ogun state.
