Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, OYHA, have commiserated with the leader of the House, Honourable Sanjo Adedoyin on the sudden demise of his son, Faith Adedoyin.

In a statement issued by the chairman, House Committee on Information and Public Affairs, Honourable Waheed Akintayo, the lawmakers described the news of the untimely death of the 500-level student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, as painful, a pill too heavy to swallow.

“The news of his demise was received with a deep sense of loss but in total submission to the will of the Almighty, Unquestionable and all-knowing God whose ways transcend human knowledge”

“On behalf of the Speaker, Right Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin and other Honourable members, we pray that the Lord comfort, grant the Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”.

“We just want you to know that our thoughts are with you and your family. We are wishing you and your family courage and peace during this time of mourning” Mr Akintayo said.

It was reported in the early hours of Thursday that some 500-level accounting students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomosho, were involved in a fatal accident last night while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfalls in Osun State. 

The incident, which occurred around Ilobo-Okinni-Osogbo in Osun State claimed many lives of the students on board.
