Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Foundation has paid off the hospital bill of a Nigerian actor and comedian Mr John Okafor popularlly known as Mr Ibu.

Mr Ibu in a video posted on his official Instagram page told Nigerians about his health condition on October 18, soliciting for financial aid.

The ABS foundation established by Former Senate President Bukola Saraki disclosed this in a statement on X(formerly Twitter) stating that the entire bill of the renowned comedian has been paid on Wednesday October 18.

“When we learned of his recent health challenges and the financial burdens associated with his medical treatment, we felt a deep sense of responsibility to assist as it was an honor” the foundation said.

The foundation also encouraged that Nigerians should come forward and assist in any capacity, whether it’s through financial contributions, moral support, or prayer

Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), after an allegations from Netizens of abandoning the actor revealed that the guild has been offering support to Mr Ibu, even before the public disclosure of his health status

Other celebrities like Davido, P-Square, Obi Cubanna and Tunde Ednut had previously promised to take care of Mr Ibu’s medical expenses.
