Addressing the stakeholders at the Asero Motor Park in Abeokuta, the state capital, the FRSC Commanders urged them to be change agents and assist in spreading the message about the importance of road safety across their various groups and communities to make the roads safer for everyone.

Pointing out that crashes involving 349 trucks and articulated vehicles were recorded in the state between January and September this year, Mr Uga charged the leadership of transport unions to enforce professionalism among the drivers, especially those involved in interstate journeys.

Also, Governor Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by the Transportation Commissioner Mr Gbenga Dario at the event expressed joy that the effective collaboration between the FRSC and the state-owned Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE was helping to ensure sanity in road traffic management across the state.
