Five persons have been reportedly dead while two injured in a fatal crash which occurred early hours of today along Ijebu-Ode- Ore Express way between a Mack truck and a Honda Accord car with no registration number.
A statement by the Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corp, Ogun Sector Command, Mrs Florence Okpe stated that the suspected causes of the crash was overspeeding and wrongful overtaking.
Mrs Okpe who described the crash as an avoidable one, if caution was put in place, also advised motorists to stop making quick turning on the expressway and use the intersection or the proper turning point.
She noted that injured victim had been taken to the General Hospital Ijebu-ode and the dead bodies deposited at the same Hospital morgue.
