The Director General, the National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mallam Lanre Yisa-Onilu has urged Nigerians to work towards redefining the country for better recognition and key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

He stated this in Ado Ekiti while addressing staff of the Agency and members of the Ewi in council in separate meetings.

Mallam Yisa-Onilu stressed the need for every Nigerian to think big and come up with new ideas that would showcase their integrity and honesty.

He noted that the decadence in the country was a result of not giving traditional rulers their due recognition, with a promise that a conference of monarchs would be organized to discuss the way out.

The NOA Boss expressed the readiness of the agency to continue to educate the public on the need to uphold integrity, morals and patriotism.

Mallam Yisa-Onilu urged members of staff of the agency to show better dedication to the service of educating the public on government policies and programmes.

Responding at the palace of Ewi of Ado Ekiti, a representative of the Chiefs commended the plan of the National Orientation Agency to carry traditional rulers along in decision-making, adding that monarchs should be consulted before giving appointments to people.

On his part, the Director, the National Orientation Agency in Ekiti State, Mr Adeyemi Akinola Who commended the efforts of the DG,  appealed to him to help in the completion of the ongoing renovation work in the Ekiti NOA office in Ado Ekiti.

He also urged him to help in the payment of outstanding promotion arrears of staff and casual workers employed in the establishment.
