Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has urged Nigerians not to allow the current economic challenges to dampen their spirits.
Governor Abiodun, in his Christmas message on Sunday, also urged Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, and goodwill as they celebrate Christmas.
The governor said the current hardship in the country occasioned by double digit inflation would soon give way as governments at the federal and state levels fashion out ways to ensure economic recovery and improved living condition for Nigerians.
Governor Abiodun praised the perseverance and the never-say-die spirit of Nigerians, even as he called for more support for government.
He, however, urged Christian faithful to always reflect on the true meaning of Christmas which encompasses love, hope, unity and selflessness.
