Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has received other four Southwest governors at the Executive Chamber, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
Governor Makinde was represented by the Deputy Governor, Chief Adebayo Lawal to receive four Southwest governors including the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Ekiti State, Abiodun Oyebanji.
The visit is based on the demise of the former governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Wednesday 27th December 2023.
The governors converge at the Oyo governor’s office to make a general condolence visit to the family of the passed-away governor at his residence in Ibadan.
Meanwhile, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State was also expected to join the other governors.
The governors were expected to later move from Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan to the residence of the late Rotimi Akeredolu SAN to sympathize with the family.
