Father, Son Beat Woman to Death in Ogun

Operatives of Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 54 year old man Chizoke Obiadada and his 17 year old son, Micheal Obiadada for allegedly beating a woman, Tope Owoade to death over a “worktable”.

The suspects were arrested after the husband of the deceased, Isiaka Owoade had reported the incident at Ogijo Police station.

Mr Owoade told the policemen that both the father and son had inflicted injuries on his 43 year old wife, following her refusal to let them sit on the table the deceased was using in selling edible animal skin.

He claimed that his late wife was bleeding severely from the womb and in her private part due to the injury she sustained , adding the she was rejected from the private hospital she was taken to.

The Police Public Relations Officers, Omolola Odutola said suspects were currently undergoing preliminary investigations and would be transferred to State criminal investigation department for discreet investigation.

She noted that efforts were ongoing to deposit the deceased in OOUTH Sagamu morgue for post mortem examination.
