It is important to shun sins in the journey of life in order to enjoy eternity.
The vicar, Saint Anne’s Church, Molete, Ibadan, The Venerable Olusegun Faleye gave the advice at the Easter Thanksgiving service held in the church.
The venerable said if christians did not shun sins, it was as nailing Jesus Christ to the cross again .
He, however, encouraged them of eternity which he said without it, Christianity would be in vain.
Highlights of the service was the celebration of holy communion,and singing and dancing by the worshippers who were gaily adorned in beautiful clothes in appreciation of resurrection of Christ.
The 40 days Lenten period ended on Saturday.

In the same Vein, Reverend Ademola Mabawonku of Agodi Baptist Church Old Ife Road Ibadan says Christians should put their trust in God as they reflect on the implications of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Reverend Mabawonku gave the admonition at a service to mark Easter Sunday.
He said that the blood of Jesus Christ shed on Calvary could avail in giving Christians comfort , satisfaction and victory.


The Reverend explained that the efficacy of Jesus blood and His resurrection should assure Christians of divine assistance in various areas including protection and healing
Reverend Mabawonku used the occasion to task polical office holders to make the welfare of the masses top priority and find lasting solutions to challenges confronting the country.
Two worshippers, Deacon Ayo Durodola and Deaconess Folashade Abiodun expressed their joy at witnessing another Easter, pointing out that the occasion brought them renewal of faith

Jesus sacrifice guarantees a secured future says Pastor Alade

District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Ori Oke Aanu, Ojoo, Ibadan, Oyo State, Pastor Isaiah O. Alade has called on Christians in Nigeria and the entire World to reflect on the sacrifices of Jesus Christ and be assured of a secure future even as the Country is experiencing its socio economic challenges.

Pastor Alade made this known in his Easter message while speaking with Radio Nigeria, saying the current experience is a testimony that God reigns in the affairs of men pointing out that the believers in Jesus Christ should be hopeful that all will be well.

According to Pastor Isaiah Alade, the death of Jesus Christ could not have been in vain as he died to redeem mankind from sin and give eternal life.

He explained further that the coming of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross is a clear indication that God will freely give his creatures all things that will enhance their lives.

The District Superintendent assured that the Christ Apostolic Church, Ori Oke Aanu Ojoo will continue to pray for peace, security and leadership of the Country, adding that, once the Country is prosperous, its Citizens will benefit immensely from it.

Pastor Alade emphasized that Easter is a time of hope, new life and new beginning as it gives the opportunity each year to renew the Christians’ commitment to their beliefs, urging Christians to emulate Christ and live in love with one another, as Jesus loved humanity which made him to give Himself up for sake of humans.
