Over 200 residents of Ibadan have benefited from the free medical outreach organized by Christ Apostolic Church, C.A.C, Oke Agbara Irapada, Ile Titun, Idi Ishin, Ibadan.

The beneficiaries including members of the church were full of appreciation for the medical intervention in view of the current inflation in the country.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria on the rationale behind the outreach, Minister in Charge of the Church, Pastor Daniel Ogundipe said the programme was not only meant to emphasize the love of Jesus Christ to mankind as demonstrated through his sufferings and death on the cross but to also demonstrate the social responsibilities of the church towards the host community.

Speaking in the same vein, the leader of the church evangelical and medical outreach, Mr Jide Egunjobi said the outreach was designed to evangelise Jesus Christ to the world.

He said participants who had health issues discovered during the outreach were advised to seek medical interventions in the hospital.

Mr Egunjobi who said the outreach covered provision of foods to the less privileged, test of cervical and breast cancer, sugar and body mass index, high blood pressure, weight and health talks urged beneficiaries to be conscious of their food choices.
