Tamunominini Gifts Cash, Materials to Babies Born on December 25

The wife of the governor of Oyo State, Mrs Tamunominini Makinde has presented gifts to the first, second and third babies born on Christmas day.

Mrs Makinde, who carried out the assignment, visited the State Hospital, Oyo town, Oba Adeyemi Primary Healthcare Centre, Durbah, Oyo and State Hospital, Owode Oyo where the babies were given birth to.

She charged the parents to take good care of the children, describing them as God’s gift from heaven.

While presenting the gifts to the mother of the first baby, Mrs Suliyat Salawudeen, who gave birth to a baby girl at 12:40 am, Mrs Makinde noted that Christmas preaches love to mankind, hence the need to share love.

The mothers of the second and the third babies, Mrs Aishat Tijani and Mrs Ikimot Enitan, who both gave birth at 4:17 am and 6:22 thanked the governor’s wife for the privilege.

The Commissioners for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, Budget and Planning, Professor Musibau Babatunde, Youth and Sports, Wasilat Adegoke and wife of the President Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Pastor Victoria Oke accompanied the wife of the governor during the visit.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of gifts and cash to the new babies.
