Amotekun Rescues 4 Kidnapped Victims in Oyo

The  Western Nigeria Security Network, code-named, Amotekun in Oyo State has rescued four kidnapped persons, including the two wives of Baale of Alagbede.

 According to State Commandant, Olayanju Olayinka, the rescue operation was a collaborative effort between Amotekun officers and local hunters in Ojutaye, along Oretu Road.

The victims were kidnapped from their residence in Alagbede village in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State at around 1 am on Tuesday.

The efforts however yielded as one of the suspects was apprehended.

 Unfortunately, one of the local hunters, known as Ojo, lost his life during the rescue operation.

Efforts are still ongoing to arrest the rest of the kidnapping gang as the  Amotekun officers and local hunters are still in their pursuit
