The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogun state has expressed sadness over the death of Former Presidential Spokesman and Former Director General of Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council, Prince Doyin Okupe.

The State’s Party Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi in a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary of APC in Ogun state, Mr Tunde Oladunjoye, described the death of the late popular politician as saddening.

Chief Sanusi said the state had indeed lost one of her great political stars who would be sorely missed at this critical time and journey of national, political and economic reconstruction.

He remarked that the deceased’s return to the progressive fold, specifically showing unconditional support for the APC-led administration under President Bola Tinubu, was seen as a significant move and heartwarming.

The Party’s Chairman, on behalf of all members, extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Doyin Okupe and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
