President Bola Tinubu has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his people-led approach to governance in Ogun State.
The President, in a congratulatory message to Prince Abiodun by his Special Adviser, Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on his 64th birthday, said the governor has brought his wealth of experience as business mogul to bear in the governance of the Gateway State.
The statesmen said: “President Bola Tinubu extends his warm congratulations to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State on his 64th birthday and fifth anniversary as the leader of the ‘Gateway State’.
“Governor Abiodun is a businessman and politician and had managed successful businesses before taking up public office.
“President Tinubu joins family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the Governor on this special occasion.
“The President commends the Governor for his people-led approach to governance while wishing him good health and renewed strength in the service of the people of Ogun State.”
The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Teslim Folarin has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the party for the 2023 general elections.
The three-term lawmaker, in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to journalists immediately after the official announcement of the former governor of Lagos, hailed the doggedness, sacrifices, maturity, and sense of patriotism demonstrated by the co-contestants “The majority of APC national delegates backed by a majority of presidential aspirants have spoken with their votes that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has the capacity to defeat PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in 2023 general elections and create a developed and prosperous Nigeria in the mould of his achievements in the past in Lagos State when he assumes the reins from May 29th, 2023”

Similarly, an All Progressive Congress APC, party Chieftain in Osun State, Oluomo Sunday Akere has described the victory of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as the party’s Presidential flagbearer come 2023 General Election, as a well-deserved victory.
Oluomo Akere stated this in an interview with Gold FM in Osogbo, Osun State.
He said Asiwaju Tinubu is a thorough progressive and democrat who has sacrificed a lot for the sustainability of the Nation’s Democracy and the All Progressive Party, APC.
Oluomo Akere called on other contestants to see his victory as a triumph for all and embrace the winner so as to work together as a team for the APC to win the Presidential Election come 2023.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters congratulated Asiwaju Tinubu on behalf of the state government led by Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola urging Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion to give him maximum support to lead the Nation to the promised land.
Likewise, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun says emergence of Senator Bola Tinubu as the presidential flag-bearer of All Progressives Congress, APC, for the 2023 general election is a good omen for the party and the country as a whole.
In a statement in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun said Senator Tinubu’s victory showed his level of deep interactions and acceptance not only within the ruling APC but across the country.
While congratulating Senator Tinubu for clinching the APC Presidential ticket, Governor Abiodun noted that Tinubu’s extensive political experience and understanding of national politics would help the party in 2023 general election.
The Governor commended Senator Tinubu’s tenacity, courage and resilience, expressing confidence that Senator Tinubu would further deepen the Nation’s democratic and good governance that would enhance the welfare and wellbeing of Nigerians.

Former Deputy Vice-Chancellor , Academic, and top contender in the concluded Vice Chancellorship race in the University of Ibadan, Professor Adeyinka Aderinto has congratulated the 13th Vice Chancellor-Elect Professor Kayode Adebowale.
Professor Aderinto who came tops in the final eight before appearing before the VC Selection Board stated that, “It is time to move on and support the new boss in the interest of our university”.
According to him, it has pleased God, the decider of all affairs, to hand over the leadership of the University to Prof. Adebowale for the next five years.
