Peace Corps of Nigeria, Oyo state has embarked on a peace rally to call public attention to the need to ensure peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
The areas visited included Challenge, Molete and Mokola.
Speaking on the essence of the rally, Oyo state commandant of the corps, Mr Adelowo Yekini said it was propelled by the urgent need for stakeholders at all levels to embrace peace as the only solution to multifaceted problems bedeviling the country.
Mr Yekin explained that peace corps was saddled with the responsibility of reorientating the minds of youths especially students against forms of social vices
Mr Yekini added that the peace march was observed by members of the corps across the country.
