The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, wants its newly promoted officers to see their official posts as more responsibilities for safety of lives and property on the highways.

FRSC Commander, Ilesa Unit, Mr Olufemi Buraimoh made the remark while decorating the promoted officers and marshals at the unit’s headquarters along Ilesa-Akure expressway, Ilesa, Osun State.

Mr Buraimoh, who congratulated the officers and the marshals for the feat, called for more dedication to duty and the reduction of carnage on the nation’s highways.

He advised the marshals and officers of the unit not to relent at making road users to comply with traffic rules and regulations.

More than fifteen officers of the unit were decorated with their new rank at the occasion.

Dignitaries at the occasion include Deputy Comptroller, Mr John Bull of the Ijesa Correctional Service, the General Manager of Gold FM, Alhaj Abolade Imam and his Unique FM counterpart, Mr Jare Martins.
