Teachers’ Recruitment: Oyo Begins Online Registration

Designated centres for the collection of teaching and non-teaching application forms in Oyo State were devoid of the usual crowd that flooded the centres yesterday.

The development followed the activation of an online portal for the recruitment exercise.

Speaking on the online application, chairman, Post Primary Teaching Service Commission in Oyo State, Pastor Akinade Alamu said the commission took the step following the stress applicants experienced in obtaining the recruitment form.

Pastor Alamu who said local government identification certificate should be attached during submission said apart from providing job opportunities for teeming unemployed youths, the recruitment would also enhance qualitative education in the state.

The TESCOM chairman appealed to citizens to cooperate with the state government in its efforts towards bringing succour to the people.
