After the unrest experienced earlier today, normalcy has been restored to the interstate motor park at Wema bank Iwo road.


Investigation by Radio Nigeria revealed that a faction of the disbanded transport union in Oyo state stormed the park for a reason yet unknown.

A member of the park administrator said the reason behind the crises would be made known to the public when the conflict is resolved.

Our correspondent however observed altercations between groups of transporters.

Meanwhile, security agencies made up of Operation Burst, Nigeria Police, Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Department of State Service, DSS, and Federal Road Safety Corps were present at the park to maintain law and order.
