Oyo state government has expressed displeasure over operations at the Oyo/Osun Boundary at Oko, Ogbomoso axis of the state despite the interstate lockdown.
Commissioner for Information, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun condemned the level of compliance at the borders while speaking with journalists after a campaign train against COVID-19.
Dr Olatunbosun said government would beef up security at the Oyo state borders and warned those flouting the rules on border lockdown by creating a channel through the bush to desist or face sanction.
Dr Olatunbosun called on the Osun state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola to synergize with Oyo state at ensuring that the borders were well secured.
The commissioner distributed face masks and hand sanitizers to traditional rulers and residents of Ogbomoso.
