A cleric has emphasized the need for the people to see the covid-19 pandemic as an opportunity to help those facing various life challenges.

The Pastor, Iwo Road Baptist Church, Monatan, Ibadan, Revd. Adeoba Kolawole, in a Sunday service sermon said many had found themselves in helpless situations on account of the negative effects of the pandemic.

 In the sermon entitled ‘ A Life that Blesses Others’ taken from Acts. 16:11-15 and verse 40, Revd. Kolawole noted that blessing others was a matter of choice.

He pointed out that blessing others was a mark of spiritual maturity, diligence and a heart that was open to God. The cleric said the hospitality of Lydia in the bible passage, was a worthy example for Christians to emulate.

The worship service witnessed the observance of safety protocols including taking people’s temperature with infra ray thermometer, hand washing, use of masks and physical distancing.
