Ogun State government has confirmed eighteen new cases of coronavirus.
Statistics from the state Ministry of Health showed that the reported cases of Covid-19 since the confirmed index case in February had moved to seven hundred and seventy four cases.
The data also explained that forty one patients had recovered from the virus and were discharged by the health authorities in the state, making a total of five hundred and thirty nine discharged cases.
Seventeen related deaths had been recorded while a total of two hundred and eighteen active cases were being managed at its Covid 19 centres.
Meanwhile, the State Government has emphasized the need for the residents of the state to maintain recommended preventive measures, to further curb the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.
